OJOKU MUSLIMS BECOMING SECRET
CONVERTS
Ojoku is a small village few kilometers away from Offa, Kwara state, Nigeria . More than 95% of Ojoku dwellers are muslim except few strangers who practice Christianity.
The missionaries working among them find it difficult to reach the adult muslims in the land except some women. These women converts could not publicly attend the church in the community. Many will have to travel to Offa, where they are not known, to hear the word of God and to attend prayer meetings. The missionaries in Ojoku decided to adopt ‘catch them young’ system by establishing school for the children, through which they reach out to these children.
Our free healthcare outreach to the village between Friday 24th and Sunday 26th September, 2010 was a great bait as almost everybody came out for the programme. It was a great opportunity for the people to hear the full gospel of Christ’s love comprehensively.
We believe that our visit to this community would not only encourage our yoke-fellow missionaries labouring there, it also allowed Ojoku people to hear the gospel of God’s love.
We appreciate you for helping us to reach these people through your financial support, prayer backing, and words of encouragement. If you had not done what you did, we couldn’t have gone there; and if we did not go there, we don’t know what would have happened.
You are invited to join KINGDOM EXTENSION PARTNERS. You seed can make a big difference.
