WHEN WILL YOU DISCOVER THEM?

Text: Ephesians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

Many people suffer want of what belong to them. It is not because what is theirs are not available and accessible, but because they are ignorant of what is theirs.
Imagine someone holding a million dollars cheque drawn in his name and matured for cash and yet still suffer financial lack just because he doesn't know it belongs to him.

This is the condition of many Christians today. We go around looking and begging for what God had already given to us.
Is it because we don't read the bible with understanding or we fail to accept what the word of God says?

The bible reveals to us in Ephesians 3:1 that God had already blessed us with  all spiritual blessings that are available in Christ Jesus. It doesn't say God is going to bless us with them. It says He has already blessed us.
All the blessings you need had already been released. Jesus came to enforce the promises of God. When Jesus shed his blood, died and rose from the dead, he completed the promise era. He brought in an era of fulfilment.

What exactly are you looking for? Is it healing, deliverance, progress, peace, joy? Whatever it is, God had already done and released them.

Look at what the word of God says:
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

The bible says you WERE HEALED by Christ's stripes. Notice it is in the past tense. He didn't say He is going to heal you. He said he had healed you.
Many don't consumate this because they don't see it or they don't accept it to be the truth.
You can't break the scripture. The just shall live by faith. Don't just store the bible in your brain, let it be in your heart.

I am not denying the fact that forces of darkness are not resting but are at work to hinder you from enjoying what God has for you. Jesus had also taken care of them. Jesus defeated satan and his host for you. They overcame them by the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11). Jesus blood was shed at Calvary to defeat satan for you. If they overcame him by Christ's blood in heaven, I also overcame him by that same blood here on earth. The blood of Jesus is available for us.

Believe God's word and live by it. Don't develop a wrong scripture and false theology for yourself. When it says you are blessed, it means you are blessed. When it says you have been healed, it means you have been healed. When it says you are an overcomer, it means you are an overcomer. What God's word says is what it means. Despise the symptoms and hold on to the word. It doesn't mean something different apart from what it says. It will happen as you believe. Nothing is impossible to him that believe.

When you do this, you will see miracles in and all around your life.

My prayer for you today:
As you lay hold on bible promises and claim your kingdom inheritance in prayer, may those bible promises become tangible miracles in your life in Jesus name Amen.

Scripture meditation for the day: Luke 15:31
And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

Do have a great day.

Living by divine instructions

I am far beyond satan reach

Text: Ephesians 2:6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

The original position of every genuine believer is too high to be reached by the devil. This Satan doesn't want you to know so that he can use your ignorance against you.
The bible says God has made you sit together with Him in Heavenly places in Christ.

How did you get to the position of sitting right beside God? Let's see how the scriptures put it.
Note the words 'in Christ Jesus' in the above passage.
As a Christian, you are in Christ Jesus. You went with Him everywhere He went.

Ephesians 1:20-22  say 'Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,'

You were in Jesus in his suffering. You were in him in the grave. So when God came to raise Jesus from the dead, He raised you with him. When He took Jesus to heaven, He took you there with him. When He set him at His right hand, He set you there with Jesus.
How high is the heavenly places where Jesus is? Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
How high is your location? It is as high as where Jesus is because you are in him where he is.
The bible also says that God put all things under Jesus feet. If I am seated with Jesus at God's right hand in heavenly places, it therefore implies that my feet are where Jesus feet are. Everything under Jesus feet is also under my feet without any exception.
That is your spiritual status.

To consummate this spiritual reality in the physical world, God makes a provision in the latter part of Ephesians 1:22.
'.....and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,'.

We are the church, the body of Christ. Jesus is the Head and believers are his body. The head of a living man can't be in a separate place from where the body is.
Jesus is sitting at the right side of God in heaven; we are there together because we are his body.
We are living here on earth;  Jesus is here with us because he is our head. We are inseparable.

Let the devil craw around seeking whom to devour. That prey can never be me. Why? Because the eyes to see is at my head. Jesus sees him and knows how to handle him.

This is the reality I live in. This is a reality every believer should live in.

My prayer for you today:
I pray that every earthly weight weighing you down and hindering you from going up and growing up spiritually be removed in Jesus name Amen.

Scripture meditation for the day:
Colossians 3:1-4
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

God bless you.

God is committed to your course

Topic: GOD IS COMMITTED TO YOUR COURSE

Text: Psalms 32:8
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

God promised to do three major things here. This promise is to genuine believers.

1. I will INSTRUCT thee....
God promises to instruct His people. To instruct is to give order, command  and information on what to do. The major problem of the world today is the lack of knowledge of what to do. They lack information.
When God instructs an individual, that person will never live a life of frustration.

2. I will TEACH you in the way you should go....
Having instruction for directions is not enough in itself; there is need for a man under instructions to be taught.
God says He will teach you in the way you shall go. This is awesome. God will teach me as I step out in pursuit of the instructions He gave me. As you obey Him, God will teach. You will become knowledgeable. A divine understanding is imparted into you. You will start to operate in the wisdom of God and whatever you do will record success.

3. I will GUIDE you with my eyes.
GOD says He will watch over you. He will guide you. God will focus you. He will guide you so that you won't miss your way. He won't allow evil to befall you.

With God's instructions, teaching and guidance in your life, you will never miss your mark of destiny.

My prayer for you today:
I pray that God will accompany you in your life journey and you will fulfill destiny in Jesus name.

Scripture meditation for the day:
Proverbs 12:28
In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death

Secrets of experiencing peace

Text: Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

No one loves to live in an atmosphere where peace is absent. Peace is what everyone desires and deserves.

But when we look at the world today, it is as if peace only exists in human imagination. War is going on in many nations, unrest in many communities, crises in many homes and emotional stress in many hearts.

What is it that took away your peace and gave you troubles?  Is it your home, spouse, children, career, economic situation, loss of someone dear to you, sickness, demonic affliction, and the likes?
Yes!  You have done all you know but to no avail, don't despair. Don't give up. There is a way out of them all.

Today's bible reference says 'Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.'
God promises to give PERFECT PEACE to those who do two basic things

1. Those whose mind stay on God.
For your mind to stay on God means to fill your heart with God. To see Him at work in every situation. To make God the center of your thoughts. To meditate on His goodness. To see God as He is. To see His ability and willingness to help you out of that situation.

2. Those who trust in God.
To trust in someone is to believe him. To have confidence in him. To see him as as someone whose words can be relied on.

Don't forget that There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

My prayer for you today:
God will see you out of your unpleasant situation and you the promised PERFECT PEACE.

Scripture meditation for the day: John 14:26-28
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Enjoy God's perfect peace.

A MEETING WITH THE BURDEN BEARER

Text: Psalms 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

A burden is anything you are experiencing that weigh you down. Anything that doesn't allow you to move at the speed you desire.

Everybody has one burden or the other but at different degrees. Some have spiritual burdens and the burden of others may be financial, family, health, emotional, and so on. No one is immune against burden.

What do we do when we are faced with a burden that is too much for us to handle?
Some cry, some go around begging, some blame others for their plight, some accuse the government for not doing enough for the populace.

Let us see what the bible recommends on how to handle our burdens.

Psalms 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

You are to take that burden to God. The bible says God will sustain you. To sustain means to keep you while the situation lasts. He won't allow the situation to consume you. He will provide a way out for you.

But don't forget that the word of God here is meant for the righteous. It says God will never allowed the righteous to be moved. As long as you are a righteous person, you will not be consumed by the challenges you are facing. To be righteous means to be right with God. To be a partaker of Christ's righteousness. To be a believer in Jesus Christ.

How do we cast our burdens upon God?
The bible answers it.

Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

When you pray and believe God for answer, the answer will come in due time. God never comes too late.

Mark 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

My prayer for you today:
I pray that God will help you to carry all your burdens and He will give you rest.

Scripture meditation for the day:1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Stay blessed.

OVERFLOWING BLESSING

"When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. John 6:12"

Devotion : Jesus Christ fed more than five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish from a boy's lunch. After they were all satisfied He asked his disciples to gather the surplus. Why do you think He gathered the surplus? Firstly, He wanted those who were witnesses to the miracle to see God's overflowing provision. Secondly, He was teaching the people to save in the period of abundance. Thirdly, He taught them to refrain from wasting resources. Finally, He wanted to give the boy who gave up his lunch the surplus to teach the people that whoever gives to Christ receives plenty in return.
